For more than 25 years, Markish has served as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Georgia, dedicating her life to caring for individuals and families with compassion and excellence. Her experiences as a caregiver, combined with her personal journey through grief, perseverance, and unwavering faith, have shaped the heartfelt messages found throughout her work.
Before becoming a full-time author, Markish explored her creativity through jewelry design, fashion, and styling, learning from respected professionals and bringing her artistic vision to projects in New York and Atlanta. Yet her greatest calling came when she chose to step away from her growing career to care for her mother living with Alzheimer’s disease—a decision that deepened her understanding of love, sacrifice, and strength.
Having endured the loss of close family members while continuing to move forward with hope, Markish believes every challenge can become the foundation for a greater purpose. Her books are written to inspire, encourage, and remind readers that no matter where they begin, they have the power to create a meaningful future.
